Commencement of operation of ERGANI Information System
The Ministry of Labour, Welfare, and Social Insurance has announced that the ERGANI information System entered into force on 13 September 2021.
The new online system allows employers to register themselves and their employees with Social Insurance Services electronically.
Specifically:
- The application for registration of an employer is submitted no later than one (1) day prior to the date the applicant is expected to become an employer.
- Every employer must register with the Social Insurance Services each employee not later than one (1) day prior to recruitment.
- Each employer must keep, a recruitment register, in which they must enter, in order of recruitment date, the personal data for each employee (employee number, name, ID card number, Social Insurance number, date of recruitment and date of commencement of employment).
- The registration of new recruitments will be done only electronically through ERGANI, which can be accessed via the website https://ergani.mlsi.gov.cy
It is noted that as of 13 September 2021, the issuance and use of the “Certificate of Employment” (in hard copy) is abolished.

Relevant information on the operation and Terms of Use of the System are available on the ERGANI website.In addition, the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance has appointed Communication Officers at each District Social Insurance Office for further information and assistance.

ΥΠΗΡΕΣΙΑ ΚΟΙΝΩΝΙΚΩΝ ΑΣΦΑΛΙΣΕΩΝ
Έναρξη λειτουργίας Πληροφοριακού Συστήματος ΕΡΓΑΝΗ
Το Υπουργείο Εργασίας Πρόνοιας και Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων ανακοίνωσε ότι στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου 2021 τέθηκε σε λειτουργία το Πληροφοριακό Σύστημα ΕΡΓΑΝΗ.
Με το νέο σύστημα οι εργοδότες θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να εγγράφονται σαν εργοδότες ηλεκτρονικά αλλά και να εγγράφουν το προσωπικό τους.
Συγκεκριμένα:
- Η αίτηση εγγραφής εργοδότη υποβάλλεται το αργότερο μία (1) μέρα πριν την ημερομηνία που ο αιτητής αναμένεται να καταστεί εργοδότης.
- Κάθε εργοδότης γνωστοποιεί στις Υπηρεσίες Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων την κάθε πρόσληψη μισθωτού το αργότερο μία (1) μέρα πριν την πρόσληψη.
- Κάθε εργοδότης οφείλει να τηρεί μητρώο προσλήψεων, στο οποίο θα πρέπει να καταχωρεί, κατά σειρά ημερομηνίας πρόσληψης, προσωπικά στοιχεία για κάθε μισθωτό (αύξοντα αριθμό, ονοματεπώνυμο, Αριθμό Δελτίου Ταυτότητας, Αριθμό Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, ημερομηνία πρόσληψης και ημερομηνία έναρξης της απασχόλησης).
- Η εγγραφή των νέων προσλήψεων θα γίνεται μόνο ηλεκτρονικά μέσω τουΠληροφοριακού Συστήματος ΕΡΓΑΝΗ, το οποίο βρίσκεται στην ιστοσελίδα https://ergani.mlsi.gov.cy
Επισημαίνεται ότι από τις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου 2021 καταργείται η έκδοση και η χρήση του εντύπου «Βεβαίωσης Έναρξης Απασχόλησης».
Επισυνάπτεται η σχετική Κανονιστική Διοικητική Πράξη.
Στην ιστοσελίδα ΕΡΓΑΝΗ έχουν αναρτηθεί σχετικές πληροφορίες για τον τρόπο λειτουργίας και τους όρους χρήσης του Συστήματος. Επιπρόσθετα, το Υπουργείο Εργασίας, Πρόνοιας και
Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων έχει καθορίσει Λειτουργούς Επικοινωνίας σε κάθε Επαρχιακό Γραφείο Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων για υποστήριξη των χρηστών.
