INCOME TAX DEDUCTED FROM EMOLUMENTS

Payments of pay-as-you-earn tax (P.A.Y.E.)

The Tax Deparment has announced that the payments of P.A.Y.E. (income tax deducted by employers from employees' remuneration) at the District Offices of the Tax Department will only be acceptable until the 28th of February 2018.

As from the 1st of March 2018, the monthly payments of P.A.Y.E. can only be made through the electronic portal of JCC Smart, unless the payment includes interest or penalties.

Payments which include interest or penalties must only be paid at the District Tax Offices.
